In the village an urn-graveyard from the bronze-era and numerous other graves from the 10-11th century have been found. One part of the village was called Bial. This name was first mentioned in a document from 1300.
It is suspected that in the 17th century, the village lost its population, because of some kind of a natural disaster or war.
The other village in this area, Capolna, is known from 1439. At that time this territory was in the hands of the Kápolnai family. It was destroyed under the Turkish rule and only some documents from 1559-1590 tell us about this village.
In the 18th century the Wattay dynasty possessed Áporka.  The village’s first seal originated at this time.
In the early 19th century the Wattay dynasty still ruled this land.  The inhabitants at the end of the reformatory era played an important role in the history of Pest county and also in the history of the whole country.
Áporka’s proximity to Budapest and its competitive land prices have attracted new industrial establishments and commercial institutions. Numerous summer houses have been built by the Danube.  The area also attracts visitors for outings.
