Szigetbecse

The Catholic church was built between 1800-1803 in copf style and was consecrated for the tribute to Saint Michael.
The attraction of the village is André Kertész Memorial House (40 Makádi str.) – which is also a photo museum. The Hungarian photographer, who became famous in France and the USA, on a tour in Hungary (1894-1895) gave away some of his valuable pictures for a permanent exhibition.
